Please
remember that insurance is a vital part of any
international move. You must be certain that your
goods are adequately insured to the replacement
cost in your destination country, and that you
do not undervalue any items. You should also pay
attention to any items that are excluded from
coverage, such as jewelry or stamp collections.
These items should be carried with you on the
plane and covered under your travel insurance
policy.
In
the event of an insurance claim, S & K 2000
will settle any claim "in house".
The
S & K 2000 staff is extremely careful and
professional in their approach to prevent or minimize
the risk of loss and damage to your shipment.
However, it is important to recognize the there
are still risks during transit. This is why we
recommend that you insure your shipment properly
with an S & K 2000 Transit Policy.
How
to determine the value of a shipment:
While
the value of shipments can vary greatly, a minimum
guideline is $10.00 per pound or $2,000.00 per
cubic meter. An S & K 2000 consultant will
be pleased to assist you in determining the proper
valuation of your shipment.
Every
